Back in the early years of the Fan Club, I had the wonderful opportunity to write an article about Erika from a perspective I knew especially well — that of her Fan Club president.
Titled “The Real Erika Slezak as Seen Through the Eyes of Her Fan Club President,” the article gave me a chance to share some personal observations about the remarkable woman I had come to know beyond her role as Victoria Lord.
I'm especially grateful to editor Joyce Becker for giving me that opportunity. Looking back at these pages today brings back some wonderful memories of those early Fan Club years.
