Over the years, the Erika Slezak Fan Club has celebrated Erika's milestone anniversaries with special commemorative booklets.

For Erika's 25th anniversary on One Life to Live in 1996, Stephen Schofield and I spent weeks reviewing 25 years of Fan Club newsletters, gathering memorable highlights from her career and personal life. We also invited friends and colleagues throughout the entertainment industry to contribute personal messages of congratulations. Nancy Richardson assisted during the early stages, while Kit Swanson Williams edited the submissions and oversaw the binding of the finished hardcover book.

On March 17, 1996, Erika and Brian welcomed Kit and me into their home, where we presented Erika with the completed tribute. She was deeply touched and affectionately referred to it simply as “The Book.” We also presented her with a silver tray commemorating her 25 years on One Life to Live.

The tradition continued with smaller commemorative booklets celebrating Erika's 30th and 40th anniversaries in 2001 and 2011. Special recognition goes to Angie Schneider, whose talent, creativity, and dedication were instrumental in bringing these anniversary tributes to life. Angie handled the design and layout, worked with the printer, and attended to the countless details involved in producing the finished booklets. Her extraordinary efforts helped transform our ideas and collected messages into beautiful, lasting keepsakes that Erika could treasure for years to come.
