The cast and crew of ONE LIFE TO LIVE celebrate Erika Slezak's (Viki) 30th anniversary with the show by throwing a party at a Manhattan restaurant on March 15th, and then enjoying some speeches and a cake on the set on March 16th. "The time has gone by like that," marveled Slezak with a snap of her fingers.
SAVE YOUR QUARTERS
A representative from Mayor Rudy Giuliani's office proclaimed it "Erika Slezak Day" which prompted Slezak to quip, "No parking tickets all day!"
THE NEW BUCHS
Robert S. Woods (Bo), Phil Carey (Asa) and Mark Derwin (Ben) had a blast at Slezak's party -- until Carey got his hand caught in a heavy slamming door. "I have to wear this bandage," lamented the cowboy holding up his right hand the next day. Derwin yelled out, "Davidson!" when Viki's last names were recounted and did not include her latest husband.
DePAIVA SANDWICH
Lisa Peluso (Gina) flanked by James and Kassie DePaiva, (Max and Blair) said she's been enjoying her quality time with Slezak in the basement. "I feel so blessed to be working her her. She really eyeballs you in the scenes, not to mention being sweet and supportive."
THE MOTHERS CLUB
Linda Dano (Rae) and Patricia Elliott (Renee) toasted Slezak, who gave a speech about knowing the crew longer than she has known her husband.
